The owners and staff were superb and coudn't have been more friendly and efficient. The restaurant and lounge/bar were lovely as was the food.

The rooms need renovated which the owners are aware of and are addressing. Overall though, a superb building and a great stay.

Long track to hotel would be difficult in bad winter weather

Traditional architecture in substantial private grounds. Cosy luxurious interior and welcoming atmosphere. A perfect island of serenity in an otherwise hectic world!

Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

Good and friendly standard of service from all staff, who regularly take initiative to check that service is good. Hotel took trouble to deliver special requests like European plug adaptor, feather pillows, weighing scales in bedroom. Excellent restaurant.
